Despite the prevalence of individuals who suffer from eating disorders, there is a paucity of residential programs available to adults and, until now, no residential programs meeting the Department of Health Services criteria for licensure. Oceanaire offers an opportunity for intensive, professional, twenty-four hour care without the restrictions and high cost of a hospital setting. Oceanaire is located in Rancho Palos Verdes, in an idyllic, home-like setting, overlooking the sea.
